Training

I currently train 5 days a week.

  • Monday: Back
  • Tuesday: Chest
  • Wednesday: Bi's & Tri's
  • Thursday: Quads
  • Friday: Shoulders & Hams

At 6 weeks out from a show, I change to a 4 day a week workout; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday are off. I just add triceps to back and biceps to chest. My sets and reps stay the same.

I do 2 working sets per exercise than move to the next exercise and go right to my heaviest wait, performing 2 sets there. The only warm up sets I do are in the first exercise for the muscle being worked. No need to waste glycogen with light sets after a muscle is warm.

I try and listen to my body and do what it tells me it needs. I push myself hard and usually do 4 exercises for major muscle groups and 3 for minor. Something this changes based on what my body tells me it needs.
